June 2024 YOTM Winner – 5225 Richard Ave

Molly and Nick DiLeo moved into their brand-new Farmhouse Prairie style two story at 5223 Richard Ave back in 2017 before they started growing their family. Seven years later, they have made this house a home inside and out. Now with a dog, a sweet 2-year-old daughter named Camille, and another little one on the way, they are enjoying the fruits of their labor.  

After trying out more colorful plants in the front and back, they opted for a simpler palette of greens and whites that complement the white brick of their home. Gorgeous, oversized flowerpotsflank the front door while the Mexican Sycamore’s silvery-green leaves, neatly trimmed boxwoods and rows of white geraniumsall add such a distinctive touch that our committee was thrilled to award them the winners of Vickery Place’s June Yard of the Month. And that was before we even saw the gorgeous backyard. 

With the help of landscape company, Platinum Scapes by Gabriel, the DiLeos created a private haven full of water features, custom lattice work and a relaxing pool to cool off in on summer evenings with their energetic toddler.
