West Nile FOUND in Dallas - Mosquito Control in effect
Mosquito samples in Dallas have tested positive for the West Nile Virus. Weather permitting, the area described below are scheduled for mosquito control spraying between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night from Tuesday, August 6th to Wednesday, August 7th.

Storm Debris Removal Progress
The Department of Sanitation Services has been working 6-7 days per week to collect more than 400,000 cubic yards debris left behind from the May 28, 2024 storm. Sanitation is on track to complete the first storm debris pass citywide by July 26, which is within its committed 60-day window.

Storm Sanitation Update
Due to the significant volume of debris, the city is currently experiencing delays in the collection process. An informational page has been provided below, containing an FAQ, a collection map, and additional guidelines.

Forward Dallas Update - Next Meeting June 20th
The commissioners voted unanimously against multiplex housing as a Primary use in the Community Residential place type and instead made it a Secondary use. Multiplexes are defined as multi-family residences with less than nine units.
