VPNA Tree Planting - 3/2/24

Did you miss out on the Branch Out Program last fall? Now is your chance to secure a Tree! A Vickery Place Neighbor has coordinated with a City of Dallas Arborist to secure some Free Trees for the Neighborhood Parkways.

Sign up on the below Google Form! Limited to 15 total trees for the neighborhood, you can choose from the provided options on the form. We will try to coordinate a planting effort, so if you'd like to help - please sign up on the same Form below!

We've got a SHORT timeline for this. Submissions will close on 2/22/24 and Trees will be delivered on 3/2/24.

Additional Info:

• Eligibility: Homeowner/Applicant will need to be home the day of planting. We intend to make tree plantings a regular occurrence going forward so if you cannot participate this time, please sign up next time!
• Trees must be planted in the Parkway.
• Distribution may be limited depending on availability of trees and volunteers.
• Homeowner will need to have a water hose to the planting site available the day of planting.
• Recipients must agree to water and mulch tree for a minimum 2 year period from date of planting.
• Please avoid scarring young trees with weed-eaters (includes homeowners and maintenance crews)!
• The Trees will be larger than the ones provided during the Branch Out Program.
